Tieman, Lois Marie (4 SEP 1934 - 14 SEP 2017)
Lois Marie Tieman passed away peacefully from this life at the age of 83 on
September 10, 2017 after a gradual decline in health.
Her memorial service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at
Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal with Pastor Dan Zimmerman officiating.
Committal services will be held in Butlerville Cemetery. Family and friends are
invited to gather on Thursday at the church in Loyal from 10AM until time of
services.
The honor of pallbearer will belong to Perry Abel, Chuck Martinson, Jacob Vick
and Madeline Vick.
Lois was born Sept 4, 1934 in Wakefield, Upper Michigan. After high school she
attended Western Union School in Indiana. While working for Western Union in
West Bend, she met Jerome “Jerry” Tieman and soon thereafter married him on
August 13, 1955.
She continued her carrier progressing from secretary to an executive secretary
at Square D, St. Mary’s Hospital, and finally retiring from Froedert Hospital in
Wauwatosa, WI in 1996.
Lois and Jerry moved from Shorewood, Wisconsin to Loyal Wisconsin. Once there
they quickly got involved in their local American Legion and Ladies Auxiliary
where Lois was once the president of the Ladies Auxiliary. They also enjoyed
participating in Adult Fellowship Activities at their home church of Trinity
Lutheran Church in Loyal, Wisconsin.
Lois and Jerry enjoyed spending time each summer at their lake cottage on Lake
Gogebic in Upper Michigan. They also enjoyed visiting their children and
grandchildren.
Lois had a smile for everyone and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her loving husband Jerome of Loyal, a daughter Denise (Jeff)
Vick of Menomonie along with 3 grandchildren Jacob, Josh and Maddie Vick. She is
further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded by her parents, a son Douglas and two brothers: Bill and
Richard. If desired, memorials are being accepted in Lois’s name to: Trinity
Lutheran Church Restoration of Stained Glass.
Her arrangements are under the care of Life Tributes Funeral Home-Spencer.
