The University of Wisconsin, Marathon County Campus, at Wausau has awarded
academic honors to two students from the Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) area.
They are Mark and Scott Ahles, both of 703 N. Boardman Street, Thorp. Mark was
cited for a perfect "A" average.
Academic honors are given students who earn a grade point average of 3.25 or
better, on a scale where 4.0 equals the letter grade A. A total of 80 UWMC
students received honors for their first semester work.
