Liebe, Robert R. (New Manager Thorp Finance - 1974)
The appointment of Robert R. Liebe as manager of the Thorp Finance Corporation
office in Neillsville has been announced by Jean C. Broeren, executive vice
president. Liebe joined the firm in 1966 as a field representative in the Neenah
office. In 1967, he was promoted to assistant manager of the Stevens Point
branch. Later he was transferred to Shawano and served there until his promotion
to Adams manager. Liebe served as manager of the Fond du Lac and Stevens Point
offices before his Neillsville appointment. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Raymond Liebe of Stevens Point. His wife, Karen is the daughter of Katherine
Mager of Rt. 1, Stevens Point. The new manager and his wife are the parents of
two children, Loralee and April.
