Fleischmann, Mr. and Mrs. Wilhelm (Golden – 13 August 1974)

The family of Mr. and Mrs. Wilhelm Fleischmann, Sr., of Granton held open house for their parents Sunday, August (?) at the Charles Galetka, Jr., home on Rt. 1 Neillsville, in honor of the Fleischmann’s’ 50th wedding anniversary.

Mr. and Mrs. Fleischmann were married August 13, 1924, at Palmyra. They have eight children: Mrs. Don (Gladys) (missing name), Mukwonago; Bill Jr., Neillsville; Mrs. Charles (Lois) Galetka, Rt. 1 Neillsville; (missing name), Lake Geneva; Ervin, Chicago, Il; Clifford, Mukwonago, Edwin and Gary, Waukesha. There are 31 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Friends and relatives attending the event came from Chicago and Woodstock, Il., Porterfield, Wausaukee, Milwaukee, Lake Geneva, Madison, Mukwonago, Elkhorn, Stevens Point, and Greenwood, as well as from the local area.

Lunch was served by the children, and a special anniversary cake was baked and decorated by the Neillsville Bakery.
