Powell, Cecil A. (1917? – 9 JAN 1970)
Funeral services for Cecil Archie Powell, 52, former Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.)
resident, who died Friday, January 9, 1970 at St. Luke's Hospital, Milwaukee,
following coronary heart surgery on Thursday, were held Monday afternoon,
January 12th at the Congregational Church in Spring Valley, with the Rev.
Michael Dunn officiating. Burial was in Spring Lake Cemetery.
Mr. Powell was born in Clark County and operated shoe stores at Spring valley
and Thorp. For the past 12 years he has worked as a hospital attendant and lived
in Union Grove.
He is survived by two brothers, Lovell, Elmwood, and Virgil of Spring Valley;
and three sisters, Mrs. Clifford Lansing and Mrs. Arthur Parsons, both of
Columbus, and Mrs. Walter Utter, Amery.
