Hobl, Jennifer “Hinde” L. (Hinde) (16 JUN 1986 - 23 SEP 2017)

Jennifer “Hinde” L. Hobl, age 31, of Athens, a former Medford resident, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017 as the result of an automobile accident.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford with Rev. David Clements officiating. Visitation was held at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 26 and also from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27.

Jennifer was born on June 16, 1986 in Marshfield to Christine “Chris” Kolstad of Medford and the late Martyn D. Hinde. She attended Medford Elementary, Middle and Sr. High Schools. In 2012 in Medford, she married David Hobl and they were separated.

After her education, she worked as a cook and waitress at different Medford area restaurants. For the past several years, she was working at Rocky’s Cozy Kitchen in Medford. Her children, pets, cooking, sewing, traveling, meeting and talking to people were near to her. She was a past member of Medford Curling Club and Girl Scouts.

In addition to her mother and husband, Jennifer is survived by her children, Andrea Klinger-Hinde of Medford, Blake Hinde of Stetsonville, Jackson Hinde and Noah Hobl, both of Athens; brothers and sisters, Anthony Hinde of Ivanhoe, Minn., Allison Hinde of St. Paul, Minn. and Geoffrey Hinde of Eau Claire. She is further survived by cousins, aunts and uncles.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her father in 1997.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be given to the family for a future designation.
