Schade, Linda R. (Sowinski) (25 AUG 1948 - 17 SEP 2017)

Linda R. Schade, 69, Wausau, died Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

She was born August 25, 1948 in Wausau, daughter of the late Alois Sowinski and Betty (Duggan) Sowinski. On May 4, 1973, she married Jack Schade in Wausau.

As a young lady, Linda enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing tennis and volleyball. She was the family historian, had a terrific memory and was known around town as “Honey Bunny”.

Survivors include her husband, Jack; mother, Betty Sowinski; siblings, Marcia Spacher, Sally (Tom) Driscoll and Paul (Ginny) Sowinski; sisters-in-law, Marta (Ron) Babl, Jody (Mike) Sturm and Vicki (Kevin) Gasner; brother-in-law, Frank (Kris) Schade; numerous nieces and nephews.

Beside her father, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Marlys.

Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home. Burial will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, September 22, 2017 at Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau.
