Horswill, Donald Lee (6 May 1940 – 15 August 1974)
Funeral services were held Monday from the Georgas Funeral Home for a
Neillsville native, Donald Lee Horswill, 34, of West Palm Beach, Fl., who died
August 15 at Good Samaritan Hospital. The Rev. Gary Clark of the Neillsville
United Church of Christ officiated and burial followed in the Neillsville City
Cemetery.
Donald Horswill, the son of Mrs. Nellie (Hogan) Horswill and the late Halbert
Horswill, was born May 6, 1940, in Neillsville and was educated in local
schools. He was employed by the Milk Products Co-op for a time, then worked in
Milwaukee and later returned to Neillsville to work for his father. Prior to his
moved to Florida three years ago, he was employed in Illinois for seven years.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include four children, Danny Denise,
Robin, and Rebecca; and a brother, James Horswill of Neillsville.
Pallbearers were Ted Pierce, Robert DeMert, Robert Struensee, Robert Murphy,
Arthur Cram and Charles Swenson.
Wilfred Galstad sang “Abide with Me” and “Come Ye Desolate.” Mrs. Rober Heineck
was the accompanist.

Prewitt, Crothersville, In.; Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Horswill, Janesville; Mr. and
Mrs. John Parrett and Ronnie Parrett, Freeport, Il.; Mrs. Ann Catlin,
Marshfield; Mrs. Wilbur Bardell, Waukegan, Il.; Mrs. Shirley Madderon, Waupaca;
Mrs. Ben Schroeder, Madison; Mr. and Mrs. James Becker, Greenwood.
