USS Oklahoma City (FHTNC) April 3, 1970 – Navy Fireman Richard I. Ehlert, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Howard C. Ehlert of route 2, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), is serving
aboard the guided missile cruiser USS Oklahoma City, in the Western Pacific.
The Oklahoma City, homeported in Yokosuka, Japan, is the flagship for the
Commander of the U.S. Seventh Fleet.
