Sebesta, Rolaine Nadine (Marriage – 24 August 1974)
Miss Rolaine Nadine Sebesta became the bride of Rick Jay Lindau Saturday August
24, in a 2:30 ceremony performed at Calvary Lutheran Church, Neillsville, by the
Rev. Ronald J. Nordin. A reception held afterwards at the Neillsville American
Legion Hall was followed in the evening by a dance at the Silver Dome Ballroom.
The bride presented in marriage by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Sebesta, Rt. 3 Neillsville. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Lindau, Rt. 1
Neillsville, are the groom’s parents.
A venise lace bordered fingertip veil secured to a Camelot headpiece of
re-embroidered Alencon lace complimented the satin, and lace accented gown of
sheer white organza chosen by the bride. The bodice, bishop sleeves, skirt and
attached train were trimmed with appliques of re-embroidered Alencon with pearl
beading, and venise lace bordered the sleeves, skirt and train.
The bridal attendants’ gowns of Nile, maize, and lavender dotted Swiss were
fashioned with white collars trimmed with ruffled lace, long, slim sleeves with
white lace ruffle cuffs, and flared skirts.
Miss Bonita Riedl, Madison, cousin of the bride, served as maid-of-honor. The
bride’s sister-in-law, Mrs. Robert M. Sebesta, Secaucus, N. J., was her matron
of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Jan Neeb, Hastings, Mn., cousin of the groom,
and Miss Karyn Lindau and Miss Rhonda Lindau, sisters of the groom.
Brian Lindau attended his brother as bestman. Groomsmen were Robert M. Sebesta,
Secaucus, N. J., brother of the bride, Mark Kronberger and Randy Sebesta,
brother of the bride. Sharing ushering duties were Jerald Sebesta, also a
brother of the bride, and Paul Tesmer.
Pre-nuptial showers were hostessed by Mrs. Robert Canfield, Jr., and by members
of the bridal party.
The new Mrs. Lindau is a 1972 graduate of Neillsville High School. Her husband,
who graduated from the same school in 1971 and attended the Eau Claire Technical
Institute, is employed as a technician for a breeders’ cooperative. They will
make their home in Stanley upon returning from a wedding trip to Wisconsin
Dells.
