Gulcynski, Anton (19 MAY 1891 – 15 APR 1970)

Anton Gulcynski, a longtime resident of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), died suddenly while enroute to St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield on Wednesday, April 15, 1970.

He was born in Buffalo, New York in 1891, and lived most of his life in the Stanley-Thorp ara.

He was married to the former Gertrude Andrews of Thorp.

He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife, Gertrude, of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Fijalkiewicz and Mrs. John (Eva) Filipiak of Stanley; two brothers, Louie and Vincent, both of Thorp; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 18th at the Thorp Funeral Home. Rev. David Fuller officiated.

He was Past Master of Thorp Lodge No. 264 F&AM. Also he was a member of the Stanley Chapter No. 138 OES. Impressive Masonic and Eastern Star services were conducted Friday evening.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge since 1947.

Interment was at the Riverside Cemetery at Withee, Wisconsin.

Pallbearers were: Russel Mead, Edward Woodworth, Corwin C. Guell, Robert Zager, Robert Bodamer, and Harry Quelle.
