Peetz, Linda Diane (11 APR 1970)
Marriage vows were exchanged in a double ring ceremony between Linda Diane
Peetz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Peetz, Gilman, and Douglas D.
Mikolainis, son of Mr. Gedmon Mikolainis, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), April 11,
1970 at 1 p.m. in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at Gilman. The Reverend
Alphonse Zoltowski officiated.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. For the occasion, she wore a gown
of nylon organza with long puff sleeves and chapel length train. Lace accented
the bodice front and empire waist. The entire gown was trimmed with white
daisies. The waist length nylon illusion veil was held by a headpiece of white
daisies to complete her ensemble. The bride carried a bouquet of white daisies.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was Margie Simmons, a friend of the bride
from Duluth Minnesota. Rosemary Przybylski, cousin of the bride, Chicago,
Illinois, and Sandra Noonan, a friend of the bride, from Gilman, Wisconsin, were
the bridesmaids. They wore identical gowns of mint green satin with chiffon
overlay. The A-line silhouettes were accented by daisy trim at the empire waist.
The dresses were complemented by a sheer coat effect and long full sleeves
cuffed with daisies. There blusher veils were secured with a Dio bow and a
cluster of daisies. A bouquet of yellow daisies completed their outfit. The
dresses were all made by Sue Nelson of Ruby, Wisconsin.
Attending the groom were Best man, Bruce Peetz, brother of the bride, Gilman,
Fran Milligan, Superior, and Bub Lukas, Milwaukee, both friends of the groom.
Ushers were Wenzel Zias, Eau Claire, brother-in-law of the groom, and Leon
Andruszkiewicz, Lublin, godfather of the bride.
A reception was held and supper was served for 200 guests at Koolmo's Ballroom,
followed by a free wedding dance.

Department Store in Milwaukee. The groom is a graduate of Thorp High School and
Eau Claire Technical School. He is presently employed as a draftsman at Howard
Needles Engineering firm, Milwaukee. The newlyweds are making their home at 6646
