Hainz, Ronald Henry (22 October 1937 – 3 October 2017)

Ronald Hainz, age 79, of Neillsville, WI died Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the Marshfield Health Center.


Ronald Henry Hainz was born on October 22, 1937 in Neillsville, WI the son of Otto and Lulu (Schoen) Hainz. He grew up helping at his father’s John Deere Implement shop and, also, on the family farm. Ron got into trucking at the age of 16 and had his own lime hauling business. On August 16, 1958 he was united in marriage to Gloria J. Northup in Neillsville. This year they celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary. Ron also worked for Tesmer’s and for 11 years he and Gloria drove semi-truck for DeBoer Trucking. During that time, he accumulated over one million miles over the road. He continued driving trucks even after leaving DeBoer.
During his earlier years, Ronnie enjoyed hunting, but more recently he loved fishing, camping, cookouts and playing cards.


He is survived by his wife, Gloria, and five children, Dean (Rhonda) Hainz of Neillsville and their children, Jamie, Candie, Raven, Heavyn and Degan, Sherri Hainz of Seguin, TX and her child, Bryan, Howie (Carla) Hainz of Neillsville and their children, Kari and Keith (Tif) and their children, Austin, Skylar, Aidan, Kylie and Addison, Ron (Sandy) Hainz of Neillsville and their children, Josh (Amber) their children, John, Noah and Amelia, Justin and his children, Tanner and Katelyn, Jason and his children, Gavin and Parker, Jordan and Steve (Rhiannon) and their children, Soley, Jared and Reagan and Louann Solberg of Rhinelander, WI. Ronnie is further survived by a brother, Chuck Hainz of Chili, WI and a sister, Betty Lou Mancl of Texas.


He was preceded in death by a son, Steve, his parents, a brother, Otto, and a sister, Darlyne.


Funeral services for Ron will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Pastor Terry Marg will officiate. Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the Gesche Funeral Home.


Casket Bearers are his grandchildren, Justin Hainz, Jason Hainz, Josh Hainz, Candie Hainz, Keith Hainz and Bryan Jensen.
