Boe, Christa F. (Rohloff) (11 OCT 1948 - 7 OCT 2017)

Christa F. Boe, 68, of Spencer, passed away at her residence on Saturday, October 7, 2017 surrounded by the love and support of her family and with care provided by Ministry Home Care Hospice.

Her memorial service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at North Ridge Church in Marshfield with Rev. Preston Tippen officiating. Private committal services will be held at a later time.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday at the church in Marshfield from 9AM until time of services. The honor of pallbearer will belong to Teri Keehn, David Horn, Jordan Boe and Karen Wegner.

Christa was born in Marshfield on November 11, 1948, the daughter of William and Hazel (Snyder) Rohloff. She graduated from Spencer High School. She was united in marriage to her best friend and the love of her life Teddy A. Boe on December 9, 1967.

Her husband stated those first years as being meager years but oh so wonderful. Her employment included working in the business office at Marshfield Clinic, in the gift Shop at Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Figi’s and Fleet Farm both in Marshfield and along with her husband Teddy they owned and operated Back Country Manor, an assisted living facility located in the Town of Spencer.

Her hobbies included playing board games with family and friends, card games such as Rook with her cousins, as well as Christa’s and Teddy’s parents. She loved her Canadian fishing trips spent with her family making wonderful memories. She cherished their travels West and experiencing all the wonder of the elk, bear and other wildlife that those states had to offer.
She was a member of North Ridge Church in Marshfield.

Survivors include her husband Teddy Boe of Spencer; her son Shane (Heidi) Boe of Spencer; her grandson Jordan Boe of Spencer; her sister Sharon (LeRoy) Horn of Pittsville; a nephew David Horn of Random Lake; a niece Teri (Kevin) Keehn of Hartland; two grandnephews: Spenser and Jacob Keehn along with numerous cousins other relatives and many dear friends.

Christa was preceded in death by her parents, and a half brother Carl Rohloff.

If desired, the family is accepting memorials in Christa’s name for a charity to be determined.
Her arrangements are under the care of Life Tributes Funeral Home in Spencer.
