Mr. and Mrs. Alex Soeller were visitors and supper guests at the home of John
Smasal Saturday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. James Varano of Minneapolis spent Saturday with their mother, Mrs.
Julia Jasinski at Stanley. They also spent some time with their sister, Mr. and
Mrs. John Badzinski of Thorp.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Baldeschwiler attended the commencement at Stout State
University Saturday, May 23, 1970. Their daughter, Janet, graduated with a
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.
Those who attended a surprise housewarming party on Ruby Buss on Sunday evening
were: Mr. and Mrs. Malen Teclaw, Mrs. Louise Doege, Mr. Art Doege, Mr. and Mrs.
Clarence Schmidt, Mr. Billy Buss, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Buss and family, Mr. and
Mrs. Milton Ystad and Dawn, Mrs. Walter Dahm and Donna, Mr. Bob Alger, Mr. and
Mrs. George Burzinski Jr. and Ginger, Mr. and Mrs. James Dahm and Jodi, Mr. Carl
Gorsegner and friends. They presented her with a beautiful gift and a delicious
lunch was served.
Mrs. David Weinberger spent the weekend in Owen with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thorson
and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jallings, and helped her great-grandson, Rickie, celebrate
his fifth birthday.
