Treankler, MaryAnn (2 JAN 1941 – 27 SEP 2017)
MaryAnn Christine Treankler (Misener), age 76, of Colby, passed away on
Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at her home.
MaryAnn was born on January 2, 1941, the daughter of Glen and Mary Misener (Buckki)
in Unity. She grew up in Unity and attended Colby High School. She married
Dwight Treankler, Sr. July 27, 1957 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Colby.
Together, they owned and operated the A &W Root Beer Stand in Colby from
1965-1972. In 1970 they built and operated the Central State Speedway in Colby.
They divorced in 1982. During her lifetime she also worked for Colby Metals in
Colby and All Metal Stamping in Abbotsford.
MaryAnn was the #1 Packer Fan of all time! Besides watching the Packers she
enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, canning and crocheting. The best times of
her life were spent with her children and grandchildren.
MaryAnn is survived by her six children, Terri Treankler, Eau Claire, Sheri
(Russell) Bunkelman, Athens, Dan (Ramona) Treankler, Altoona, Dwight Jr. (Vicky)
Treankler, Abbotsford, Rob Treankler, Owen, Shannon (Niaomi) Treankler, Marathon
and her grandchildren, Dwight, Lucas, Clayton, Alaina, Clifford, Brandon, Garett,
Macey, Arial, Tyson, Jessie, Lindsey, Jason, Dan, Travis, Nicole, Josh,
Samantha, Garrison, Griffin and Greenly and her 14 great grandchildren. She is
further survived by her siblings Brother Leroy
(Donna) Misener, Brother Wayne (Janet) Misener, Sister-In-Law Terri Misener,
Brother Ken (Shelly) Misener and her 9 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her Brother Bob Misener and Dwight
Treankler, Sr.
There will be no funeral service, however; there will
be a Celebration of Life held in her honor, with the time being announced at a
later date.
