Wendtland, Richard C. (14 FEB 1980 - 24 DEC 2005)
Richard C. Wendtland, 25, 1834 11th Avenue, Edgar, died Saturday December 24,
2005.
He was born February 14, 1980, in Marshfield, son of Larry A. and Janice (Knetter)
Wendtland, Edgar.
Richard had been a Diesel Mechanic and currently was an independent,
over-the-road owner/operator. Among his many interests, he enjoyed Nascar,
hunting, swamp romping, snowmobiling, maintaining his trucks along with other
interests among his many friends.
Survivors besides his parents, Larry and Janice, include a sister, Misti
Wendtland, LaCrosse, a maternal grandmother, Rose Knetter, Edgar a paternal
grandfather, Clarence Wendtland, Edgar and many aunts, uncles, cousins and
friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Wendtland in March 1996, his
maternal grandfather, Michael Knetter and his paternal grandmother, Darlene
Wendtland.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday December 28, 2005 at
St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. Rev. Norman Boneck will preside. Burial will be
in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00
p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar, and again on Wednesday from
10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
