Lemanski, Shawn Alexander (27 JUL 1971 - 17 NOV 2012)
Shawn Alexander Lemanski, 41, Grafton, died unexpectedly on Saturday, November
17, 2012.
He was born July 27, 1971 in Port Washington, son of Roger and Harriet (Lepak)
Lemanski of Marathon. On July 8, 2011, he married Lisa Gelhar in Port
Washington. She survives.
Shawn was a hard working mechanic with a great sense of humor who loved his
wife, Lisa and their daughters, Miranda and Abby. Shawn had many interests,
including his love of the outdoors, his pets, cooking, the Green Bay Packers,
and his friends and family. Shawn was a great friend to many wonderful people.
Shawn lived his life to the fullest, having left numerous memories to all that
knew him. He was a hunter at heart, and deer hunting was the pinnacle of his
year. Shawn may have left us much too soon, but he did so doing what he loved.
Survivors include, his loving wife, Lisa Gelhar and daughters, Miranda and Abby
Koby, Grafton; his parents, Roger and Harriet Lemanski, Marathon; five siblings,
Scott (Jane) Lemanski, Grafton, Susan (Mike) Sullivan, Clarksville, Tenn.,
Thomas Lemanski, West Bend, Tony (Jennifer) Lemanski, West Bend and Tina (Chad
Krueger) Lemanski, Belgium; nieces and nephews, T.J., Alexandra, Skylar, Duncan,
Josh, Colin, Clara, Dylan, Holly, Nick and Joey; his father and mother-in-law,
Ronald and Sandra Gelhar, Muskego; Grandpa Ron, Milwaukee; and his
sister-in-law, Lori Hudson and her daughter, Cassi, Reedsburg, NC.
He was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Timothy Lemanski; his
grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at Noon on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at
St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. Rev. Joseph Diermeier will preside. Friends
may call Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home,
Marathon and again on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at the
church. There will be a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at the
funeral home.
