Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Madison, Wisconsin was the site of a wedding on June 6, 1970 between Julia Louise Cochems and Terrence James Keating.

Julie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Cochems of 4314 Herrick Lane, Madison. She is a 1969 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Julie belonged to Chi Omega Sorority.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Keating of 101 W. Birch Street, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). He is a senior at the University of Wisconsin School of Engineering. Terrence belongs to the Delta Upsilon Fraternity.

The bride's gown was of white silk organza with Peau D'Angle lace trim and beaded accent, with bishop sleeves and a long lace edged train. Her veil was a long silk illusion veil with a beaded Juliet headpiece.

The matron of honor was Mrs. Daniel Hein of Madison. The bridesmaids were Miss Kathleen Keating, Thorp, and Mrs. Dean Helgeland of Madison. The three attendants wore yellow chiffon gowns.

The best man was Thomas Jensen of Madison. Groomsmen were Roger McLimans of Duluth, Minnesota, and Russell Boie of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Ushers were David Keating of Thorp and Richard Cochems of Madison.

A wedding reception was held at the Blackhawk Country Club in Madison. Immediately after the wedding, the couple left for California.
