Schultze, Dale L. (16 APR 1939 – 14 JUN 1970)
Dale LaVerne Schultze, 31, former Stanley area resident, was killed in a
motorcycle accident Sunday morning in Towner, North Dakota.
He was born April 16, 1939 in the Town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.), the son of
Max and Mildred Schultze. He grew up in the Town of Worden and attended the
grade school. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 until 1961, and was in the
Army Reserve for three years. He then moved to South Dakota for a short time,
and for the last seven years lived in North Dakota. He was married to Theresa
Duchscherer in Minot, North Dakota on March 12, 1970.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa; one son, Justin; two daughters, Melissa and
Brenda; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Schultze Sr., route 3, Stanley; 11
brothers, Ronald of Brown Deer; Jerry of Mobile, Ala.; William of Thorp; Max
Jr., James, Richard, Harold and Calvin of Stanley; Howard of Kansas City Kansas;
Raymond of Towner, N.D.; John of Sioux Falls, S.D.; four sisters, Mrs. Edwin
(Mae) France of Sturgis, S.D.; Mrs. Emmit (Sally) Lowe of Chicago; Mrs. Herman
)Patricia) Mason, Thorp, and Penny of Stanley. He was preceded in death by one
sister and one brothers.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 17th at St. Paul's
Lutheran Church, Thorp. Burial was made in the Oakland Cemetery, Stanley.
