Miss Debbie Lasiuk, daughter of Mr. and Richard Lasiuk, Sherry Stigen, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Stigen, and Jane Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hanford
Anderson, spent the weekend at the summer home of Jane's grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Louis st. Angelo on Silver Lake in northern Wisconsin. The girls returned
home three days later with Mr. and Mrs. Gene Stigen.
Mr. and Mrs. Layton Asselin spent the weekend in Eau Claire at the Orval Asselin
home and also attended the wedding of Geralyn Chamberlain and John Berg.
Ed Bogumill received word that his son, Lt. Col. George and family, while
vacationing in the Appalachian Mountains last week, met and visited with Steven
(Boo) Snyder and wife from Tampa, Florida.
Mrs. Hanford D. Anderson, Gael, Gwen, Jane, and Mrs. Jeffrey Anderson, Mrs.
Charles Senn and Thomas Boardman attended "The Odd Couple: at the Kjer Theatre
Thursday evening. The latter visited with Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Anderson and
their daughter Christine.
A son, Randy, 6 lbs., 1 oz., was born on June 20th to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Halida
of Sheboygan. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hempelman Sr. and Mr. and
Mrs. Edward Halida, Lublin.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schultze spent Sunday evening at the Layton Asselin home.
Father William Joseph Matzek was the dinner guests of the Hanford Andersons on
Friday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Koltis and boys were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Melburn
Haas on Thursday evening in honor of Mel's birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Anderson and daughter, Christine, spent Father's Day with
the Hanford D. Andersons. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blazel and
daughters of Omaha, Nebraska.
