Jarmoluk, Mr./Mrs. John (Gold – 27 APR 1970)
Relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. John Jarmoluk of Gilman (Taylor Co.,
Wis.), gathered on Saturday, June 20th to help them celebrate their 50th wedding
anniversary.
The couple renewed their marriage vows at a mass of thanksgiving at St. Peter
and Paul Catholic Church at 1 p.m., and a reception hosted by their children was
held immediately after the ceremony at Koolmo Ballroom.
Ten of the couple eighteen attendants were present at the celebration. There
were: Amelia Grabowski of Chicago; John Kapzukiewicz of Gilman; Victor Nicoski
of Gilman; Stanley Nicoski of Chicago; Barney Bujalski of Chicago, Kathie
(Twarowski) Sczyplorski of Stanley; Victoria (Bujalski) Sappa of Minneapolis;
Cecelia (Pierling) Conrad of Milwaukee; Mari (Nicoski) Kembock of Superior; Mary
(Bujalski) Brandsness of Chicago.
John Jarmoluk and Mary Twarowski were married at Stanley, Wisconsin on April 27,
1920. They have since lived in Gilman, where they were engaged in farming until
their retirement in 1957.
The couple has five living children: Mrs. Walter (Frances) Karson, Chicago;
Frank, Cary, Illinois; Mrs. Henry (Ann) Popowski, Bel Air, Maryland; Dr. Anton
Jarmoluk, Elk River, Minnesota, and Mrs. Jerome (Betty) Dietzler, Thorp. They
also have seventeen grandchildren.
