Johnson, Alma (29 MAY 1898 – 30 JUN 1970)
Mrs. Alma Johnson, 72, died at St. Joseph's Hospital Tuesday, June 30, 1970. She
had been a patient there for the last three weeks.
She was born in Menomonie on May 29, 1898 and came to the Stanley area when she
was one year old. She has lived most of her life in the Town of Worden (Clark
Co., Wis.), rural Stanley. On June 7, 1941 she married Martin E. Johnson at
Stillwater, Minnesota.
She is survived by three brothers, Phillip, Alvin and Jule, all of Stanley; four
sisters, Mrs. S.N. Samuelson, Stanley; Mrs. Charles McGinnis, Plano, Illinois;
Alice Haugen, Wausau, and Hilda Haugen, St. Paul.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 2nd at 1 p.m. at the Plombon Funeral
Home, Stanley, with the Reverend Carl W. Peters officiating. Burial was in
Evergreen Cemetery, Stanley.
