Meyer, Nancy (18 JUL 1970)
Nancy Meyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Meyer, and Raymond Kodl, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Albert Kodl, were united in holy matrimony on July 18, 1970, at St.
Hedwig's Chapel. Reverend Francis Czerwionka, uncle of the bride, performed the
2:00 p.m. ceremony, and Reverend Bill Matzek was co-celebrant. Assisting the
priests were Gerald Meyer, Mass server, and Mr. Fred Czerwionka, lector. Kathy
Keating played contemporary selections on the organ preceding Mass and Sister
Felicia Czerwionka was organist during the ceremony. Mrs. Ted Meyer, mother of
the bride, sang Offertory as Franny Meyer, sister of the bride, and Bob Kodl,
brother of the groom, carried the Offertory gifts to the altar.
Maid of honor was Donna Meyer, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mary Meyer,
sister of the bride, Jo Hium, and Sharon Whiting, friends of the bride.
Ronald Kodl, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Pete
Flashinski, Frank Maslowski and Dean Whiting, friends of the groom.
Ushers were Richard Kodl, brother of the groom, and Dennis Meyer, brother of the
bride.
The reception, dinner, and dance were held at the Legion Hall at Thorp.
After a week's honeymoon in Abilene, Texas, the couple now resides in Eau
Claire, Wisconsin.
