Kosmosky, Roger Alan (29 June 1956 – 24 October 2017)

Roger Kosmosky, age 61, of Neillsville, WI died Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the Neillsville Care and Rehab Center.


Roger Alan Kosmosky was born on June 29, 1956 in Neillsville, the son of Stephen and Iva (Goetzka) Kosmosky. He graduated from Neillsville High School in 1975. He worked for Terry and Joyce Becker at the Holiday Gas Station in Neillsville for many years before starting a long career with Nelson Muffler. He worked there through of their many changes of ownership eventually working his way into Management with Global Solutions and traveling all over the world setting up new plants and equipment. He retired from Cummins when his health deteriorated.


Roger loved hunting and fishing, and made many memorable trips with friends and family. He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neillsville Men’s Club, and the Neillsville and Loyal Gun Clubs.
Roger will be missed by his brothers: Ron (Bonnie) Kosmosky of Beloit, and Larry (Caroline) Kosmosky of Neillsville, nieces, and nephews: Steve (Shelly) Kosmosky, Patrick (Karen) Kosmosky, Jennifer (Kyle) Clemins, Amy Kosmosky, and Justin Kosmosky, along with his beloved hunting dogs: Belle and Duke and many friends.


He was preceded in death by his parents.


Funeral services for Roger will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville. Pastor Timothy Biebert will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday morning prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
