The Rev. and Mrs. M. C. Goetsch, Green Grove, were honored at a celebration at
the Green Grove church Sunday evening, commemorating the Rev. Goetsch’s 20th
year as a pastor of the Curtiss, North Green Grove and South Green Grove
Lutheran congregations.
The Rev. John Brandt, Dorchester gave the festival sermon, after which
refreshments were served in the church dining room.
The Rev. and Mrs. Goetsch were presented with a purse of money and other gifts
from these three congregations in appreciation of their many years of service.
The Goetsch’s have two children, Miss Adeline Goetsch, a member of the Owen High
School faculty, and Harold Goetsch, student at Whitewater State Teacher’s
College.
