Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hakes received a telephone call Saturday evening from their
son, SP-5 Donald R. Hakes, from the Hawaiian Islands, where he is spending his R
and R. Donald is stationed with the U.S. Army in Vietnam.
Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Manier, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Manier, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe
Horban attended an appreciation supper for Reverend and Mrs. Walter Miller at
the Maple Grove Church Tuesday evening.
Mrs. Minnie Brandt was a Saturday supper guests at the John Brandt home.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller were dinner guests at the Jim Savina home.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gustafson visited at the Herman Licht home Thursday evening.
Mrs. Clarence Dumke and Darlene of Owen visited at the Dick Brandt home Saturday
afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hakes were Sunday dinner guests at the Lavern Hakes home.
Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Manier called at the Clifford Walter home Sunday
afternoon.
Mrs. George Paap and Mrs. Anna Paap visited at the Joe Emert Sr. home at
Fairchild on Sunday afternoon.
