James L. Lewan, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lewan, route 1, Thorp (Clark Co.,
Wis.), was promoted to Army Specialist 4 July 24, 1970 at Fort Hood, Texas,
where he is serving with the 2nd Armored Division.
Specialist Lewan, a finance clerk in the division’s 502nd Administration
Company, entered the Army in August 1969 and completed basic training at Fort
Leonard Wood, Missouri.
