Lew, Henry (10 MAR 1924 – 8 SEP 1970)
Funeral services for Henry Lew, 46, Town of Cleveland (Taylor Co., Wis.), who
died at St. Joseph's Hospital on Tuesday, September 8, 1970, were held at 10
a.m. Friday at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at Gilman, with the Reverend
Father Alphons Zoltowski officiating. Burial was made in Meadowbrook Cemetery at
Gilman.
Mr. Lew was born at Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) March 10, 1924 and attended school
there. He was married to Lucille Bartosiewicz at Lublin on June 28, 1951, and
after their marriage they lived on a farm in the Withee area. In 1957 they moved
to the Gilman area, where he operated a farm.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Henry Lew Jr., Lester and Garry, all at
home; three daughters, Mrs. Leon (Diane) Burkhardt, Gilman; and Arlen and
Shelli, at home; one step-daughter, Mrs. John Miller, Gilman; one grandchild;
five brothers; one sister; and his father, John Lew, Lublin.
