Sebunia, Elizabeth Ann (1 AUG 1970)

Elizabeth Ann Sebunia, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Sebunia, became the bride of John Louis Lorenz, Chicago, on Saturday, August 1, 1970 at St. Stanislaus Church, Lublin. Reverend Casimer Paul officiated at the two p.m. Mass and marriage ceremony.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a Chantilly lace gown styled with a Sabrina neckline and lace shirred sleeves with cuff. Her bouffant skirt flowed into a tiered chapel train, with miniature pearl trim at the neckline and skirt. Lace floral petals with pearl edging and crystal trim held her bouffant fingertip veil, and she carried a bouquet of red roses.

Barbara Lobacz was her sister's matron of honor, and bridesmaids were: Christine Cwikla, Bonnie Sebunia, and Theresa Lorenz. They each wore a Mediterranean blue semi A-line skirt with a satin belt, gowns styled with white georgette bodice, long puff sleeves, a stand up ruffled collar and satin buttons trimming the bodice and sleeve cuff. Each wore matching sheer floral cluster headpiece, puff veils, and carried bouquets of white pompoms.

Attending the groom was Ben Wisniewski as best man, and groomsmen were: Pat Witek, Danny Lorenz, and Eugene Zakrzewicz. Ushers were Bill Stasilla and Mike Zakrzewicz.

A reception was held at Koolmo's Ballroom, Gilman.
