Kildahl, Alvin R. (31 MAR 1939 - 28 OCT 2017)
Alvin R. Kildahl, 78, Phillips, former Kennan resident, died in the Aspirus
Pleasant View Nursing Home in Phillips on Sunday, October 28, 2017.
He was born in Kennan on March 31, 1939, the son of Even and Viola (Fleith)
Kildahl. He worked the family farm in Kennan, was employed by the Link farm for
10 years, and then was employed by Phillips Lionite for over 30 years until the
time of his retirement. He was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church of
Phillips. In his free time he enjoyed farming, the outdoors, animals, visiting
with family, travel, and hunting.
He is survived by nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by 10 brothers and
sisters, Evelyn Bono, Norman, Irene Koch, Marvin, Vera Mitchell, Kenneth, Alice,
Bernice Bergquist, Lorraine, and Donald.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 4, at the
Trinity Lutheran Church in Phillips with Pastor John Trewyn officiating.
Interment will be in the Kennan Cemetery in Kennan. Friends may call at the
church on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services.
