Kusmirek, Dorothy Rose (Otto) (18 JAN 1948 - 5 NOV 2017)

Dorothy Rose Kusmirek, 69, Hawkins, died on Sunday, November 5, in the Mayo Clinic Health Systems Hospital in Eau Claire.

She was born on January 18, 1948, in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, the daughter of Herbert and Rose (Heino) Otto. She was a 1966 graduate of the Phillips High School. She was married to Henry Kusmirek on April 25, 1970, in the Zion Lutheran Church in Kennan. They operated a dairy farm in the South Fork Township, Hawkins. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Kennan. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Henry; by five children, Tonya (Al) Kusmirek-Rolek, Hammond, Indiana, Bradley (Darlene), New Richmond, WI, Brian, Glen Flora, WI, Michelle (Lance) Vandamme, Baldwin, WI, and Keith, Madison, WI; by three grandsons; and by one brother, Howard (Betty) Otto, Kennan.

She is preceded in death by one son, Mark; by her parents.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 9, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Kennan with Pastor John Trewyn officiating. Interment will be in the Kennan Cemetery in Kennan. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
