Feldbruegge, Kristine Mary (Marriage – 24 August 1974)
Miss Kristine Mary Feldbruegge, Marshfield, and Jeffery James Seefeld, Unity,
were married August 24, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester, by the Rev.
Jacob Burggraf. The 1;30 p.m. ceremony was followed by a reception, dinner and
dance at the Dorchester Memorial Hall.
The bride, presented in marriage by her parents, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Feldbruegge, of Dorchester. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Seefeld, of Unity are the
groom’s parents.
A cascade arrangement of white Cattleya orchids, coral roses and butterscotch
pompons accented with ivy highlighted the traditional bridal gown of satapeau
fashioned with a molded bodice and A-line skirt flowing into a full, circular
chapel length train. A matching Camelot headpiece with elbow length veil was
styled by the bride.
Bridal attendants were: Mrs. Roseanne Sypniewski, Wheeling, Il., as
matron-of-honor, and Mrs. Carol Kuehling, Unity, Mrs. Carolyn Witzel,
Marshfield, and Mrs. Dee Feldbruegge, Marietta, Ga., as bridesmaids. They
appeared in high waisted, puff-sleeved gowns of yellow and green floral print
chiffon featuring ruffles at the neckline and skirt hemline. Green satin ribbons
trimmed the dresses and accompanying yellow picture hats. Each carried a nosegay
of coral roses, butterscotch pompons and green and white daisy pompons.
Ronnie Schmitt, Colby, served as bestman. Groomsmen were Denny Kuehling, Unity,
Donald Feldbruegge, Rio, and Roger Feldbruegge, Marietta, Ga. Sharing ushering
duties were Ronnie Schmitt and Roger Feldbruegge.
Vocal selections were by Miss Carleen Sillampa, and Chuck Ratzloff. Mrs. Karen
Meyer was the organist.
A 1970 graduate of Colby High School, and a 1972 graduate of North Central
Technical Institute, Wausau, in nursing, the bride is employed as a registered
nurse working in surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Her husband
graduated from Colby High School in 1969, and from the automotive program of
North Central Technical Institute in 1972. He was recently discharged after
serving two years in the U. S. Army.
The couple will live in Marshfield upon returning from a wedding trip the South
Dakota Badlands and Black Hills, Yellowstone National Park, and Glacier
International Park.
