Malinowski, Stella (3 JUN 1897 – 4 OCT 1970)

Mrs. Stella Malinowski, 73, of 1532-A S. 11th Street, died Sunday, October 4, 1970 at St. Nicholas Hospital following a prolonged illness.

The former Stella Balcer was born in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) June 3, 1897, a daughter of the late Anton and Frances Balcer. She attended school there.

In May 1918 she was married to Thomas Malinowski, He died in 1944.

The couple moved to Sheboygan Falls in 1926, and she lived there until moving to Sheboygan in 1952.

Mrs. Malinowski was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, and the St. Ann's Christian Mother's Society.

Surviving are two sons, Edmund of Stoughton and Leo J. Malin of Kohler; two daughters, Mrs. Brayn (Jane) Hoerl of Wauwatosa and Mrs. Lyle (Louise) Lawrence of Sheboygan; a brother, John, Thorp; and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Nieman of Thorp, Mrs. John Patch, Chicago, and Mrs. John Polnaszek of Minneapolis (the fourth sister was not named).

Three infant sons and one sister also preceded her in death.

Fuenral services were held on Wednesday, October 7th, with the Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, following brief family rites at the Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home at 9:30. The Reverend Robert Hoeler, pastor, was the celebrant.

Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Sheboygan Falls.
