Burrington, Mr./Mrs. Pirl (40th – 4 OCT 1970)
An open house in observance of the 40th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Pirl
Burrington was arranged by their children at the couple's home in Butler on
Sunday, October 4, 1970. Al the children were present, as well as eight
grandchildren.
A corsage of blue mums and yellow roses was a gift of the children for their
mother, also a three tier wedding cake decorated with red roses was present to
them both. They received many card and man beautiful gifts.
Out of town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Reineke, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph McIntyre
and Lisa, Eau Claire, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Burrington and children, Paulette,
Roxanne, Jackie, Daniel, Tracey, and Brian, Albertville, Reverend and Mrs.
Harold Palmer, Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Sylvia Winterer, Cadott, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde
Shoemaker and Teresa, Alma Center, Mr. and Mrs. Dewayne Parent and Steven,
Humbird, Reverend and Mrs. LeRoy Gross, Carolee and John, Mrs. Earl Richardson,
Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Worden, Mr. and Mrs. Theo Braun, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Horn,
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keller, and Mr. and Mrs. Arno Miller, all of Greenwood.
