Ehlert, Constance Naomi (3 OCT 1970)
Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Stanley, was the scene for the marriage of Miss
Constance Naomi Ehlert and William Lee Lang on Saturday, October 3, 1970.
Reverend Carl Peters performed the two p.m. marriage ceremony. A friend of the
bride, Sherri Wolfe, sang for the marriage.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ehlert, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.),
and Mrs. Nelda Lang, Marshfield.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a satin dress with lace
bodice shaped in a V, which was gathered at an empire waist. Lace was featured
on the train length veil. She carried large white mums with red roses trimming
the bouquet and continuing to make a short tail of flowers.
Miss Susan Ehlert was her sister's maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Rosanne
Champa, sister of the groom, and Kay Little, friend of the bride. They wore
rainbow colored dresses with mums tinted the color of the dresses.
Kim Devine, friend of the couple, was flower girl, and ring bearer was Brian
Ehlert, brother of the bride.
Attending the groom was his brother Larry Lang, as best man, and Darrell Kulesa
and Gary Engle as groomsmen.
A supper and reception for 150 guests were held at Huron Hall, north of Stanley.
The bride attended Thorp Public Grade School and High School, and is a cashier
for ITT Midwestern. The groom is a brick layer and carpenter for Harold
Mathewson, Marshfield.
