Tara M. Sauer and Brian S. Abel were married on Aug. 5, 2017, at Immanuel
Lutheran Church, Medford. Pastor James Krueger officiated.
Parents of the couple are Jim and Jayne Sauer, Medford, and Scott and Darla
Abel, Greenwood.
The bride was escorted by her father and wore an A-line gown with a keyhole
back.
Maid of honor was Tori Sauer, Medford, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were
Anne Wolf, Medford, cousin of the bride; Megan Bruggink, Medford, friend of the
bride; Morgan Dums, Athens, friend of the bride; and Brittany Daniel, Grand
Rapids, Mich., friend of the bride. Special attendant was Kim Mengel, Wausau,
cousin of the bride.
Best man was Patrick Johnson, Rochester, Minn., friend of the groom. Groomsmen
were Benjamin Lindner, Greenwood, friend of the groom; John Milz, Loyal, friend
of the groom; Michael Wolf, Medford, cousin of the bride/friend of the groom;
and Steven Abel, Eau Claire, brother of the groom.
Ushers were Eric Abel, Marshfield, brother of the groom; Paul Abel, Greenwood,
brother of the groom; Marcus Reimann, Medford, cousin of the bride; and Brad
Seifert, Racine, cousin of the groom.
Greeter was Mason Reimann, Medford, cousin of the bride. Sign bearers were Kip
and Korbin Dums, Athens, godsons of the bride.
The bride is a fifth grade teacher in the Spencer School District.
The groom is a phy-ed teacher and athletic director in the Spencer School
District.
The couple resides in Spencer.
