Kalvin DeCorah, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kelly DeCorah, was baptized at the Free
Methodist Church of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) on January 7, 1973. Pastor Frank
Mutchler officiated. The sponsors were Mr. and Mrs. Ted Boe of Spencer, and Mrs.
Hazel Manthe of Spencer, who is the maternal grandmother. A dinner was served
after the baptism at the DeCorah home. Guests were Mrs. Hazel Manthe, Charles
and Judy Manthe, who are the baby's aunt and uncle; Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Manthe,
Ronnie, Norbert and Bobby; Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Sternitzky, Billy, Jimmy, Terry,
and Mark; Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Seaburn, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mutchler, Renee and
Brenda.
Pastor Frank Mutchler officiated at four adult baptisms at the Baptist Church in
Greenwood. Those who were baptized were Mr. and Mrs. Kelly DeCorah of Loyal, and
Bruce Ortwig and Kathy Ortwig of Greenwood.
