Weyer, George (10 FEB 1923 – 12 JAN 1973)
George F. Weyer, 49, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died at Neillsville Memorial
Hospital January 12, 1973, at 1:00 p.m.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony's Church, with
burial in St. Anthony's Cemetery. The Rev. Norbert King officiated and Rinka
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
George Weyer was born February 10, 1923 at Loyal. His parent were John and Helen
Weyer.
He attended St. Anthony's School and spent his entire life with his parents. His
hobby of making rosaries was well known to residents of the immediate area.
A general rosary was held at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, and a P.C.C.W. Rosary at 3:00
on Sunday.
Pallbearers were Richard Weyer Jr., Joseph Weyer, Raymond Weyer, Tom Weyer,
Jerry Weyer and Mac Board.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Helen Weyer, Loyal; three sisters, Mrs. Greg
(Coletta) Tasse, Marshfield; Mrs. Scharol Anna Foat, Baines, Wis.; Mrs. Donald
(Rosemary) Board, Wisconsin Rapids; five brothers, Andrew, Phoenix, Arizona;
Alex, Seattle, Washington; Mike, Loyal; Richard, Loyal, and Robert, Loyal.
He was preceded in death by one sister in infancy and his father in 1959.
