Moe, Adelaide (15 JUN 1898 – 1 JAN 1973)
Adelaide Moe, 74, Rt. 2, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away Monday evening,
January 1, 1973, at Marshfield. The former Adelaide Olson was born June 15, 1898
in Chippewa Falls. She was married to Anton Moe in 1920, and the couple spent
most of their married life in the Mondovi area. They lived at Libertyville,
Illinois for 11 years prior to moving to Loyal 4 1/2 years ago with their
daughter and family.
Mrs. Moe was a member of the Central Lutheran Church at Mondovi and its
organizations.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Lyla) Meyer, Rt. 2, Loyal, Mrs.
Louis (Marguerite) Heimstead, Eau Claire, and one son, Dutee Moe, Grayslake,
Illinois, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her husband, Anton, on October 1, 1972.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., January 5, 1973, at the Central
Lutheran Church at Mondovi, with Rev. William Humlie of Loyal officiating.
Burial was at the Riverside Lutheran Cemetery in Mondovi.
