Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at the Gilman Funeral Home for
Victor Hamilton, 97, Neillsville, a former Jump River resident who died Tuesday
evening, Nov.13,1984, at Memorial Nursing Home, Neillsville, where he had
resided the past year.
Rev. LeRoy Schrock officiated and burial took place in Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Jump
River.
Mr. Hamilton was born October 14, 1887, in Wisconsin and had spent the majority
of his life in the Jump River and Hannibal areas.
He was married November 22, 1912, at Owatonna, Minn., to Elvina Brynestead, who
died October 7, 1959.
Surviving him are a sister, Eunice, Mrs. Phil Opferkuch, Gilman, and nieces and
nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, a brother and four sisters.
