Jennings, Dennis R. “Denny” (20 JAN 1953 - 14 SEP 2011)
Dennis R. “Denny” Jennings, age 58 of Jump River, WI passed away unexpectedly at
his home on Wednesday, September 14, 2011.
Dennis was born January 20, 1953 in Ladysmith, WI, the son of Robert and Audrey
(Gifford) Jennings. He grew up in Sheldon, attending and graduating from
Flambeau High School. He was united in marriage to Jackie Ahlers on April 10,
1976 at the Church of Christ, Sheldon. Dennis lived in Jump River, working as a
carpenter around the area.
Besides his great love for his grandchildren, he Read More enjoyed hunting, ice
fishing and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Jeff) Weishaar of Arlington Heights,
IL, grandchildren, McKenna Jennings, Aaron and Ryan Weishaar, siblings, Cheri
(Rod) Dauer of Fargo, ND; Nancy (Wayne) Rissman of Huron, SD; Larry Jennings of
Hayward, WI; Betty (Dale) Prasnicki of Jump River, WI; and half sister, Susy
(Dean) Peggar of Stanley, WI; step-mother, Peggy Tinstman of Cornell WI;
step-siblings Bryce (Lynn) Bollom of Inver Grove Heights, MN; Betty Jean
(Robert) Stone of Sheldon, WI; Donna (Dean) McLaughlin of Madison, WI; plus many
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Michael in 2010 and previously his parents.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Jump
River Community Center with Pastor Jeremy Allard officiating. Burial will follow
at the Mount Nebo Cemetery, Jump River, WI.
Friends and family may call from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the Jump River
Community Center on Saturday.
Plombon Funeral Service of Gilman is assisting the family.
