Madlon, Albert John (21 FEB 1934 - 4 JUN 2007)
Albert John Madlon, 73, Sheldon, died June 4, 2007, at home in Jump River,
Taylor County.
He was born on Feb. 21, 1934, at home in Jump River, the son of Victor and
Theresa (Lechleitner) Madlon. He and Rose Alice Lorence were married on Nov. 20,
1954, at Conrath.
He was a Catholic. He farmed most of his life. He spent a short time in Lansing,
Mich., working for Oldsmobile. When he moved back to Wisconsin, he drove truck
for Olynicks and Dernovseks. In 1957, he moved back onto the home farm where he
lived until the present. His greatest joy was his family. He enjoyed spending
time with them and spoke frequently about when he was a young man. He was never
quick to judge anyone and had many friends and was considered a good neighbor.
He was never afraid to lend a helping hand. He respected and expected honesty
from everyone around him. His presence, sense of humor and generosity will be
sadly missed.
Funeral services are Thursday, June 7, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Church
in Sheldon with Father John Long officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Jump River.
