Romanowski, Linda S. (17 OCT 1948 - 20 NOV 2017)
Linda S. Romanowski, age 69 of Stanley, died Monday, November 20, 2017 at
Wissota Health & Regional Vent Center in Chippewa Falls.
She was born at home and delivered by her great aunt Lena Thompson who was a
midwife in Taylor County on October 17, 1948, the daughter of William and Alvina
(Wundrow) Romanowski.
Linda worked various jobs throughout her life, ending with TTM Technologies in
Chippewa Falls. Some of her fondest memories were on the farm harnessing horses,
riding her favorite horse “Ginger”, and spending time with her animals. She also
enjoyed many years of riding horse with family and friends, attending rodeos and
fishing. Her grandchildren were the love of her life. She enjoyed spending time
with family and friends.
She is survived by her children: Terry Romanowski of Thorp and Jackson (Kristie)
Romanowski of Withee; grandchildren: Charles Abramczak, Sabrina Romanowski,
Addison Romanowski and Alivia Romanowski; brothers: Eugene Romanowski (Betty
Cornell) of Boyd; Kenneth (Rita) Romanowski of Cadott; and William (Ann)
Romanowski of Jim Falls; sisters: Janice (Roger) Kohls of Cadott and Constance
(Michael) Olinger of Fall Creek. She is further survived
by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents.
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 5:00 p.m.
to 8:00 p.m. at Plombon Funeral Home-Stanley.
