A cooking experience was held by Mike Kurz, leader of the Kids 26 Road 4-H Club cooking class on Saturday evening at his parents' home. Those participating in the taffy pull were Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Burkhalter and Harry, and Mrs. and Mrs. Henry Kurz, Raymond and Lorena.

Mrs. Henry Kurz and Lorena visited with Mary Fellenz on Saturday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Strey of Loyal visited at the Ronald Beisner home.

Terri Metcalfe of Marshfield and the Algene Schmidtke children of Stratford spent the weekend with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Metcalfe.

A double tenth birthday party was held at the Allan Rasmussen home in Wisconsin Rapids on Sunday, in honor of Dean Rasmussen and Shari Brue, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Brue of Baldwin. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Dexter Brue and family, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Brue and family, and the Donald Rasmussen family. Gifts and birthday cake were part of the scene.

Harold Florey visited with Ray Metcalfe on Saturday.

Leroy Collinson and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kurz and sons helped the Marvin Burkhalter family move to their now home on Route 1, Loyal.
