A birthday party was held in connection with the Friendship Club for Mrs. Flossie Schmidtke Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Lavey. A gift was presented here from the club, also a beautiful birthday cake, and a gift from each member. The evening was spent playing cards.

Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Nyle Benedict were their children and families, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Benedict and family of Lomira, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Pinkerton and family of Oshkosh, and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Benedict and daughter Melody of Stevens Point.

Mr. and Mrs. Glen Lavey and Mr. and Mrs. David Lavey and son Mark attended the Central State Conference and All Conference Band.
