Mr. and Mrs. Glen Zilk of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Merle Bartsch left last Wednesday, February 14, for a week's vacation trip to Arkansas.

Bill Schmidtke, who is hospitalized at Marshfield, is much improved. His nephew, Gene Turner, visited this weekend.

The Friendship Club met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Lavey on Tuesday evening, February 13. Flossie Schmidtke was honored on her birthday.

The New York Homemakers Club met on Thursday evening at the home of Elinora Reich. Bonnie Bletsoe presided at the business meeting. The project was given by Pat Naedler and Bonnie Bletsoe. Roll call was answered with an interesting fact about Washington and Lincoln. Marcia Crothers gave a reading of some of the significant incidents in the early life of Lincoln.
