Mr. and Mrs. Alvin W. Thieme, Route 3, Marshfield, announce the Christmas engagement of their daughter, Joyce Mae, 508 N. Walnut Ave., and Bernard F. Artac, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Artac, Route 2, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.).

Miss Thieme graduated in 1971 from Marshfield Senior High School, and works in the Mineral Core Department of Weyerhaeuser Company. Her fiancé is a 1966 graduate of Greenwood High School, has served for three years, 1968 – 1971, in the U.S. Army. He is employed in wiring and plumbing with his father in Artac Appliance.

The engaged couple plans a fall nuptial.
