Ohlrogge, Edith (26 AUG 1899 – 18 MAR 1973)
Edith Ohlrogge, 73, 307 W. Mill Street, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died at the
home of her son Richard at New Lenox, Ill., Sunday evening, March 18, 1973, of a
lingering illness.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 1973, at the Trinity
Lutheran Church, Loyal, with the Rev. William Humlie officiating. Burial was in
the Lutheran Cemetery at Loyal.
Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.
The former Edith Helen Hayes was born August 26, 1899, at Oshkosh and received
her education in Oshkosh schools. She was married June 18, 1932 at Oshkosh to
Claude Ohlrogge.
She worked for the Wepfer Pharmacy for a number of years, then from 1955 until
her retirement she worked for the Citizens State Bank of Loyal as a teller and
bookkeeper.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Loyal.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. William (Janet) Kinsman, Manawa, Wis., one
son, Richard Ohlrogge, New Lenox, Ill.; five grandchildren, and two sisters,
Mrs. Wm. (Mary) Curtis, Green Bay, and Mrs. Earl (Winifred) Sawings, Oshkosh.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sisters.
