Hodorowski, Harry J. Jr. (24 AUG 1946 – 9 NOV 2017)
Harry J. Hodorowski Jr., age 71, formerly of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), passed
away at Hayward Area Memorial Hospital on Thursday, November 9, 2017. Visitation
will be held at Thorp Funeral Home on Saturday, December 9, 2017, from 9 a.m. to
11 a.m. Interment will follow in New St. Hedwig's Cemetery.
Harry Joseph Hodorowski was born on August 24, 1946, to Harry P. and Josephine
E. (Wink) Hodorowski. He was raised on his parent's farm east of Thorp, and
received his education at Thorp area schools. After graduation, he moved to
Milwaukee and worked for his cousin in a gas station, and later did some factory
work. He then moved to Mukwonago, WI, where he started his siding and trim
company. After retiring, he moved to Loretta, WI to live in his little cabin in
the woods.
Harry enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing, working on cars, woodworking, and
helping anyone who needed his help.
He is survived by his son, Martin Joseph; was a special brother to: Kathy (Rollie)
Williams of New Berlin, and Bonnie Hodorowski (special friend Ron) of
Springville, Tennessee; uncle to: Judy (Bob) Brent, Patrick (Lori) Wampole,
Stacy Equity, Corey (Angie) Wampole, and Hope Stoddard; great-uncle to: Amanda
and Tony Brent, Zack Wampole and Samantha Equitz; friends to: Butch Newby, Ken
Wampole, Jerry and Cheryl Wolf. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins,
friends from the Loretta ara, and nurses at Hayward Memorial Hospital.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents: Albert and Mary
(Musial) Hodorowski, and Albert and Elizabeth (Keller) Wink.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity or to St.
Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic School, where Harry graduated in 1960.
